Lucy successfully underwent heart surgery and is already feeling much better — smiling and eating more. With her heart now healthy, doctors have also been able to address her cleft palate and are moving forward with a plan to treat her kidney problems.
“I’ll be eternally grateful for all the help I received. I can see now how my little girl’s health is improving day by day,” Lucy’s mother said.
Angella gave birth to a healthy baby girl via C-section delivery. She is recovering well, her baby is breastfeeding, and both were discharged in good health.
With joy and a smile, Angella says, “I pray that the donor program continues supporting needy mothers. I was not well financially and could have struggled to clear the hospital bills, but I thank the Almighty God that I was able to be helped.
Girdhari, a 35-year-old auto-rickshaw driver from India, supports his wife, three children, and extended family. Eighteen months ago, he suffered severe leg burns in a workplace accident. Without specialized burn care, he developed painful foot contractures that now make walking difficult. Corrective surgery and rehabilitation can restore his mobility and help him return to work to support his family.

During surgery, doctors sewed the hole near Mili’s heart closed so that blood could no longer leak through it. Her parents are hopeful that she will grow up to be happy and healthy.

Five months ago, Crispin was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia, a condition that occurs when abdominal tissue protrudes through a weak spot in the lower abdominal muscles, causing a bulge in the groin area. The condition has been causing him pain and difficulty in moving around. Crispin needs to undergo surgery to treat his condition
Crispin says, “I am deeply grateful to the Almighty and the Foundation for this surgery, which saves me from falling into debt and gives me hope that more people like me will continue to receive help.”
Pinieli is a five-month-old baby boy, and the fifth born child in his family. His parents rely on seasonal farming for the family’s daily sustenance.
Pinieli has clubfoot on left foot, a condition in which the foot is twisted out of shape. His parents were worried when they noticed the unusual positioning of his foot at birth, especially as they were unfamiliar with the condition. If not treated early, the condition will cause difficulty in his mobility.
Rokiatou is a 30-year-old mother of two from Mali. She is a home maker, and shares that she enjoys taking care of her children and her home.
Rokiatou is currently expecting her third child. With a history of fetal heart failure and gestational diabetes, her doctors recommend a cesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
She says: “I hope to deliver a healthy baby, and in the safest way.”
At just 2½ years old, Nidhi suffered severe burns to her right chest and arm after accidentally falling into hot sugar syrup. Although her wounds healed, she never received reconstructive surgery. Over time, the scars developed into contractures, restricting movement in her right arm and affecting the development and appearance of her right breast.
Nidhi’s family reached out to G.S. Memorial Plastic Surgery Hospital and Trauma Center, where surgeons performed her burn contracture release surgery on June 19th.

Brighton is a one-month-old baby boy and the first child of his family. Shortly after birth, he was diagnosed with clubfoot affecting both feet, causing them to turn inward
After treatment, he will have a strong chance of growing up with the ability to walk, run, and participate fully in life without limitations.
Brighton’s mother says, “Our wish is to see him grow up, walk and play like other children.”
